Allan is just beginning his 3rd week of training with Megan at Comox Valley Fitness. With only 6 sessions gone by, Allan's determination has set him off to a positive start in reaching his weight loss goals! Megan took the first couple of weeks with Allan to jumpstart his cardiovascular training, (consisting of interval and steady-state conditioning), and modify his strength training to reach maximum benefits. Allan's program has him at the gym strength training 4-5x/week, doing cardio training 5-6x/week, and core conditioning 3-4x/week. So far, Allan's toughest challenge is training his back. He hopes to gain upper body strength over the next three months and Megan's new exercises are definitely going to get him there!
Congrats! Allan has already lost 6 lbs and 2.5 inches off his waist. Good luck for the rest of the transformation! Over the next few weeks Allan will move through a new period of training where he will focus on increasing lean muscle tissue & challenge his anaerobic threshold through outdoor training! |
